About Shinkay Karokhail

She served as a Member of Parliament in Afghanistan, where she played a pivotal role in legislation, policy reform, and advocating for gender equality.

In addition to her parliamentary career, Shinkai was appointed as Afghanistan’s Ambassador to Canada, further strengthening diplomatic ties and representing Afghan interests on the international stage. Throughout her tenure, she worked tirelessly to support Afghan immigrants, promote human rights, and foster international cooperation.

As a Board Member of the Development of Innovative Business Association (DIBA), Shinkai brings extensive experience in governance, policymaking, and advocacy. Her leadership and diplomatic expertise contribute to DIBA’s mission of empowering newcomers, particularly women, to achieve economic independence and business success. She plays a key role in advising on policy alignment, strategic planning, and building partnerships to enhance opportunities for entrepreneurs within the community.
