Suhaima Tunio

Suhaima Tunio, MD, She is part of the team at the London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC), where she has been serving as a full-time resident physician since July 2023. Before her current role, Dr. Tunio worked as a Research Student in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery at LHSC, gaining valuable insights and experience during her internship from June 2020 to June 2023. She also contributed to health policy research as a Health Policy Research Student at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in 2018-2019, showcasing her interest in the broader aspects of healthcare.

In addition to her medical and research endeavors, Dr. Tunio has been actively involved in student development and leadership roles. At Western University, she served as a Peer Writing Counsellor and later took on various positions such as Workshop Coordinator, Career Profile Advisor, and Peer Mock Interviewer. She also led efforts as an Education Portfolio Writing Lead and worked as a Clinical Psychology Research Assistant.

Dr. Tunio's well-rounded experience demonstrates her commitment to both clinical excellence and a deep understanding of the multidisciplinary nature of healthcare, with a strong foundation in research, education, and policy.
